Creating an Experience through Customer Service
About Brian Siddle
Brian Siddle is the Director of Community and Content at Strong Coffee Marketing. Located in Edmonton, Alberta, Strong Coffee Marketing is an award-winning digital agency that focuses on the development and execution of online marketing strategies. Since its foundation in 2009, the agency has worked with a vast array of clients seeking to learn, develop, and implement marketing and communications strategies on the web.
Much of Brian's time is spent speaking on digital marketing topics at engagements throughout North America. He has developed keynotes, workshops, and webinars for organizations such as Destination British Columbia, Tourism Yukon, Travel Alberta, PGA of Canada, Century 21, Giant Screen Cinema Association and Alberta Culture and Tourism. Brian has also taught digital marketing courses at Northern Lakes College and the University of Alberta.

Before founding Strong Coffee Marketing, Brian worked at Travel Alberta where he played a key role in the creation of their first social media strategy. He was also the first social media voice of the organization.
Brian holds a Bachelor of Management Degree from the University of Lethbridge and a Golf Operations Management Diploma from MacEwan University.

Frequent Topics I have been asked to speak on a variety of topics over the years and have developed a substantial collection of keynotes, workshops and presentations. Although the exact titles and topics vary from event to event, a few areas of specialization include:

1. Social media and government – As one of the individuals that brought social media to Travel Alberta, I frequently get asked to speak on the process of convincing those in higher government positions to allow for social media use within departments. We have had several government clients that we have helped to create social media strategies and policies. 2. Digital marketing and tourism – Close to 70% of our clients are in tourism, so our agency spends a lot of time helping to market destinations, attractions and events. The majority of the large conference presentations that I give have some sort of tie to tourism. 3. Digital marketing tactics and case studies – Although I enjoy talking about big ideas and broad digital topics at a high level, most clients appreciate my ability to offer tactics and takeaways that they can use in their businesses. I spend about 60% of my time fully immersed in our marketing agency, so I work on a lot of campaigns and creative concepts. I use this ongoing experience to provide real-world case studies and examples.
